Hello!
My name is Jill Hamilton and I am one of the first grade teachers here at JMC. I earned my BA and teaching credential from CSU Stanislaus, and am currently pursuing my Masters of Education in STEM. I first joined John McCandless in October of 2017 as a volunteer coach for the STEM Sisters after school club. From January to June of 2018, I worked on our campus as a student teacher for 5th grade and grew to love JMC more each day. At the end of the 2017/2018 school year, I applied for and happily accepted the first grade teaching position that had recently opened! Although I initially worked with older age groups at JMC, I have three years of experience teaching Pre-K from before my time here. I'm very excited to be working with younger students again and am looking forward to getting to know you and your children this school year. :)
