**NOTE: All underlined text, is a link to the referenced resource.**
This page was created for the purpose of navigating our district's grade 1 distance learning plan. All links and resources on this page were taken directly from lusd.net. As you and your children may have noticed, there is no "structure" or set timeline to follow for these learning activities. Also, nothing provided is new. The purpose of our district's distance learning activities are to reinforce prior learning and review curriculum that had been covered in the classroom BEFORE we shut down our sites.

Don't overwhelm yourself. Don't overload your child.
Do what you can, and ask for help with what you cannot.
I know it isn't the same over a computer - but I'M STILL HERE FOR YOU! <3
ELA:
Wonders / Maravillas
"Wonders" is our district's English Language Arts curriculum and "Maravillas," is its Spanish counterpart. The link that has been provided by the district gives you access to review worksheets from Unit 4. For your convenience, I will link them here:

Unit 4, Week 1-3 Unidad 4, Semana 1-3

If you would like your child to work beyond these review worksheets, I advise you have them work on their "digital wonders," which you have instructions to access on the 'students' tab. Have them record their work in a separate notebook for handwriting practice. :)
Eureka:
Math / Wit & Wisdom
"Eureka" is the classroom curriculum that we follow for Math. The link that our district has provided is a review of Module 4 with pdf worksheets. The video lessons will be helpful when going through each problem set.
This link also provides Eureka's "Wit and Wisdom," ELA curriculum. The concepts in the videos should be similar to what your child has learned in the Wonders curriculum, just taught in a different way.
If you would like to access the ENTIRE first grade math curriculum or a different ELA concept, there are links at the bottom of their website, for you to access a drop box that contains the files you'll need. For your convenience, I am linking those here. :)

Additional Resources
The additional resources LUSD recommends are Scholastic (which has already been linked on the 'students' tab of our website,) Unite for Literacy, and Audible. For your convenience, I will link them again here:

Scholastic Unite for Literacy Audible

The primary focus of these resources is reading, but the Scholastic page has all kinds of activities imbedded to help keep kids reading, thinking, and growing.
>>PRO TIP<<
Stop wasting your ink!! Use a notebook to have your children copy what they need and have them record their work for handwriting practice..
