100 times I've seen their smiles,
Held their hands, and dried their tears.
Done all the little things they need,
When parents are not near.
100 times I've taught them Tips and tricks to get through Math.
100 times I've giggled with them,
When they needed a good laugh.
100 times I've read with them,
Seen their imaginations soar.
As we traveled with Jack and Annie,
To the times of the Dinosaurs.
100 times I've asked them to sit down,
To sit still and stay on task.
Yet still always proud and boast,
To everyone about my class.
100 times I've given hugs goodbye,
At the end of each school day.
And today I stop and smile,
Knowing day 101 is on the way.
