Being on a new campus, playground procedures have been a constant conversation amongst the teachers. But why not take it directly to the source?! Mrs. McCoy's third graders came and visited first and second grade rooms - to lead a discussion about problems they see on the playground and possible solutions. Our hope is that getting the children in on these conversations, and basing guidelines around what they know is right - will give them a sense of ownership when it comes to the expectations they are being held to.
