Driving Question: How can we, as zoologists, create a new animal?
At the end of our Animal PBL, students had to choose characteristics from two different animal groups (mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, or fish) - and combine them to create a new animal! Once their animals were complete and accompanying story written - both first grade classes came together and took turns presenting their work. Everyone was so proud to show what they know!
