Winterfest was THE BEST!

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart - for showing up and supporting JMC's second Winterfest event! Woohoo! :) There was a LOT of love, hard work, and dedication of time put into this night.. so many thanks are in order...

During Winterfest, we noticed a lot of smiling faces.  Each room was jam packed with people and the joy was spilling over. Early in the planning process, Mrs. Jacqui and I found the event to be short staffed. But thanks to the amazing families and teachers in our community, each station was adequately staffed! We are truly grateful for everyone’s participation!

Some highlights from the night...

*Smiles on the faces of at least 213 students showing up (we may have missed some at the check-in station).

*Dozens of Middle Schoolers showing up to volunteer at the stations!

*The 4 Bautista’s efficiently running an ultra busy hot chocolate bar ALL night.

*More than 80% of first-grade students attended last night!

*A demolished hot chocolate bar. We went through 250 packets of hot chocolate, hundred of cookies, and heaps of toppings.

*The smell coconut conditioner coming out of Miss Hamilton’s room and all the way down the hall from snow making.

*The floor of Room 7 covered in confetti from snowflake symmetry.

*Superstar Samson in the stop-motion room.

*The creativity bursting from snow engineering room.

*Maggie Genest going above and beyond to help us out!

Thank you to all who helped, and all who came to enjoy this night.

If you have photos of the fun you had, send them my way to be featured below!
